It's already in my copy of the FAQ dated 24 September 1995.  I'm guilty
of not looking it up in Usenet for a long time, so likely this version
never got to Chris Lewis for posting.  I'll zing it over there
shortly.

Since I'm burning bandwidth, what is the status of Marc's new &
improved voice rewrite for vgetty?  Is there a rough guess at a
release date?  Is there work others could do to help out?
