As mentioned at least 20 times at this place, this is *not* Ghostscript's
fault. Later ghostscript versions just have the "bug" that they honour requests 
from postscript code to change the page widths.

Actually, programs creating such requests are broken. The list of known
programs so far are the MS Windows Postscript Driver, DVIPS 5.5* (5.47 works
fine), and FrameMaker 4.0.

Later Ghostscript version will most likely include code to ignore page size
change requests on drivers that will break (e.g. the fax drivers).
