Bubba names his Dog. (Episode 1, in "The Return of Bubba" series)
One day Bubba was driving around town in his pickup, pondering all the new wisdom God had given him. "Wow, just last week I was nobody going nowhere. Just a ole'boy who liked to fish. I asked the good Lord for help, he gave me wisdom, and now I feel a rocket scientist. And I still like to fish!" Bubba though to himslef. Arf! Arf! Arf! Bubbas peaceful thoughts where interrupted by his barking dog back in the pickup bed. Bubba slid open the back window and shouted "Shut up you old hound dog! I'm driving this truck, and we ain't stopping for no poodle!!!". Bubba conscience pricked him. "Ya know that old hound dog has been with me for 10 years." his said out-loud. Bubba slammed on his brakes, scaring the daylights out of a lady with a poodle, who was in a Cadillac following Bubba. "Dog I'm going to promote you to the cab." The dog could barely contain his excitement. he jumped right into the cab and began to sniff through several bags of fast-food wrappers. Look fo!
r some people food. "Leave that garbage alone" Bubba swatted as the pickup pulled away,
"Dog Up here in the Cab you got to have some standards." Bubba began to scratch his beard "Dog you need a name. I never thought much about it but I got all this wisdom now. I don't now much about naming things."
The pickup passed a sign that said "Peach Tree Ave". Bubba looked at his dog. "How about Peaches, Na, that's a sissy name."
The next street was "Main St". Bubba Shook his head NO. "Main? that's a street name."
A moment latter, the pickup truck pulled up to a stop-light on red. A shinny new blue street sign stood their shimmering in the mourning sun.
It said "Tyler Blvd".
"Yes! Yes!" Bubba exploded, "That's it! I'll call you 'Tyler'". And I wont keep you in the Basement anymore.
"Tyler" the dog wagged his tail in approval.
