A search turned this up:

    Perfume Name : Hope
    Year : 1952
    Type : Women
Distributor : Frances Denney div. Stephan Company
Address : 1850 West McNab Road
    City, State : Ft. LauderdaleFL

    Back to Information List.

    Description : Citrus floral.

So you see Frances Denney is only a division of the parent company,
Stephan Company.

BTW the alta vista search also turned this up:

Does this mean your perfume died? :-)

The only other hit was:

The Senior Girls Basketball Team was coached by Ira Belle Harper and
the Team Captain was Nina Plumlee. Forwards on the team were Ruth
Dutton, Pearl Dilbeck, Nina Plumlee, and Ina Mae Gilley. Guards were
Lou Barnes, Una Lee Hutcheson, and Blanche Newby. Centers were Jewell
Newsom and Frances Denney. No win-loss record is available for the
    girls team.

So your perfume played basketball before it died? :-)

OK, seriously, lets look under "Stephan Company" and see what we find:

Very interesting situation. This little known hair products company
seemingly is building into a major personal products organization. Men
usually see the name "The Stephan Company" on products used in barber
shops-but I'm finding growth well beyond this niche. Any Comments

So, it is the same company that makes the big bottles of hair tonic at
old fashioned barber shops. I seem to remember that name...

WITHDRAWAL GRANTED

An order has been issued granting the application of Stephan Company
to withdraw from listing and registration on its Common Stock, $1.00

This does not look good. This information came from the SEC NEWS
DIGEST, Issue 96-83, May 3, 1996. They may well have gone out of
business.

No, here it is! Found them on the AMEX stock exchange, address and
everything.
