Right ON! If Melchizedek was Jesus manifested before his birth then we have
a pre-existing Christ. This is not within the parameters of oneness
theology. What does the bible mean by "THE ONLY BEGOTTON"? Was Jesus
begotten twice? Once in eternity and again in Bethlehem? Supreme folly!
The entire passage of Hebrews must be taken into consideration! Melchizedek
had no tracable lineage yet he was considered a priest of God. He recieved
tithe as a priest yet without any pedigree! And so it is once again the
scriptures point out that niether lineage nor nationality nor progenitry are
granted any special priviledge by God. A person born of the Nation of the
Jew cannot claim priviledge wiht God based upon lineage. God does not
consider a Jew above an Italian, nor grants them grace on the merit of
progenitry. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor
free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to
the promise.
If and only IF ye be Christ's then and only then are you Abrahams seed and
an heir according to the promise!
