Well, my father was executive vice president of several large
companies, one of which I know you would instantly recognize if I
named it. We lived in houses of that ilk. He and my mother
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1992. They have stuck
together thru thick and thin. While I did get involved in drugs as a
youth, as did my brother, the Lord delivered me from them when he
saved me in 1978.

I'll steer clear of your personal situation. I said "token marriages" because I have seen more than a couple marriages that are for the express purpose of furthering their career. How many CEOs do you know of that are single (not divorced)? They have only token lives outside of "The Company." This is not universal, but is true in an astonishingly high number of cases.
I now own a computer consulting company and have
income in 6 figures, and my brother is now in finance and does far
better than I income wise. Both of us try to dress professionally
while before clients. and customers.

But don't try to tell me that you don't work in your underwear at home. =) And I never said that it was bad to dress up for clients-- just that "just because" (my former first sergeant's favorite saying) isn't really a good enough reason.
Maybe you are working for the wrong company. I was, until I started
my own!

I am trying to get a fledgeling business off the ground. That is certainly the route that I want to go down, but it isn't quite as easy as it looks.

Think of what he might have accomplished if he had bathed! :-)
[Brad Young]
A lot less, I'm sure =)
