This is very true, but the sad reality is that ministers do fall into
temptation and sin.  We have at least one member on this list who
belongs to a UPC church where the previous pastor resigned because of
sexual sin -- I knew several of the individuals involved.  I know of
another instance of a UPC youth pastor who was convicted of raping one
of those he was "ministering" to; this one made the papers.

No, I'm not interested in details or additional examples and only give
these examples to illustrate that the problem is not limited to
Catholic priests.   These policies are good for the minister's
protection *and* the youth's protection.
