My mother's male poodle, Jacques, would come running over by the organ
whenever I played it, back in the 60's and early 70's. He would sing
along while I played. I used to think he was howling because it hurt
his ears, but he always wagged his tail, so I guess he enjoyed it.
Now my duaghter's cat, Tornado, come over and jumps up on the organ
bench, always to my left, when I play the organ. He just sits there
and intently watches my hands moving over the keyboards.
I think animals do like music. in their own way.
