Here's all I'm going to say on this matter...

Did Melchizedek die on the cross for me?

Did Melchizedek baptize me with the Holy Ghost?

NO.  It was God in the form of the man Jesus that did this for me.  It is
the name of Jesus that is what counts now.  Except for a couple of remote
passages in the NT, Melchizedek faded from the pages of history centuries
before the man Jesus or even the nation of Israel came to be.  And, all of
these accounts are only there to validate Jesus as a priest/king just like
Melchizedek's pattern (as opposed to Aaronic priests who were not kings,
and came after Melchizedek).

I think this whole fight is another vain attempt of Satan to confuse us and
cause division among this fellowship.  This is just one attempt of many
I've seen over the last couple of weeks.  There is revival going on in our
churches, but Satan is trying to attack us where we don't have the
protection of being surrounded by saints worshipping.

Let's stop this discussion now, please.  It doesn't matter who or what
Melchizedek was, the bottom line is Jesus saved my soul.  Jesus gave me the
Holy Ghost.  Period.
