Bibles in China

Ok, folks, help me out here!!  The other day while listening to our local
christian radio station, I heard part of a broadcast, about a crusade to
get (smuggle) bibles into China.  Is it just illegal to bring Bibles into
China, or is it illegal to actually own a bible in China? (Pardon my lack
of knowledge here) :-)  Now here is my thought, since many around the
world are connected to the World Wide Web, is there some kind of
regulation that prevents those in China from accesssing the various
Bibles online?  And what about the possibility of bringing CD-Roms of the
bible into China?  Or other disks with bible information?  I am not a
very newsy person, and usually hear about the stuff in the news, a couple
of days after everyone else, so.......Have I missed something?
