Several sisters in the Lord have written about little family support about
their faith.

I just thought I would say that I share your abandonment by family members.
My father has not spoken to me in a year and a half. I received the Holy
Ghost and got baptized over five years ago as a freshman in high school. One
year later my father divorced and remarried. My new stepmom didn't like my
convictions. Since I would not change to suit her my father listened to her.
I moved in with my mom. Now my father thinks that my faith is a cult. I am
the only pentecostal in my family.
