Don't know if this will interest anyone, but it sure
shows me how much we need to be separate
from worldliness and be Godly in all our conversation
(behavior, life style).

> CHURCH OF SATAN FOUNDER DIES
>
> SAN FRANCISCO - Anton Szandor LaVey, who founded the Church
> of Satan in San Francisco in 1966, died of pulmonary edema
> October 29 after years of heart problems. He was 67.
> According to his daughter Karla LaVey, the church will
> continue "in his footsteps."
>
> LaVey's teachings are described in the DICTIONARY OF CULTS,
> SECTS, RELIGIONS AND THE OCCULT: "Materialism and hedonism
> are the two basic philosophies espoused by LaVey. LaVey's
> themes find their way into rock-drug subcultures, but his
> influence on mainstream middle-class values should not be
> underestimated." The dictionary explains LaVey's form of
> satanism in his own words: "Satan represents indulgence
> instead of abstinence,...vital existence instead of
> spiritual pipe dreams,...vengeance instead of turning the
> other cheek...."
>
> "We will do as he directed to keep the Church of Satan going

Notice what they are espousing NOT to do:
abstinence
spiritual dreams (i.e. knowing we have a future in
heaven and living like we are going there; this
world is not our home)
turning the other cheek
If the this satanic group recognizes the things in
direct opposition to their teaching, should we not
hold those things high as a banner? We, in these
last days need the reminders of Peter:
(2 Peter 1:12-16 KJV) "Wherefore I will not be
negligent to put you always in remembrance of
these things, though ye know them, and be established
in the present truth. {13} Yea, I think it meet, as
long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by
putting you in remembrance; {14} Knowing that
shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as
our Lord Jesus Christ hath showed me. {15} Moreover
I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease
to have these things always in remembrance. {16} For
we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when
we made known unto you the power and coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty."
(2 Peter 3:1-5 KJV) "This second epistle, beloved, I
now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds
by way of remembrance: {2} That ye may be mindful of the
words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and
of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and
Saviour: {3} Knowing this first, that there shall come in the
last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, {4} And
saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the
fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from
the beginning of the creation. {5} For this they willingly are
ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old,
and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:"
(2 Peter 3:11 KJV) "Seeing then that all these things shall
be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all
holy conversation and godliness,"
(Ezra 10:11 KJV) "Now therefore make confession unto
the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and
separate yourselves from the people of the land, and
from the strange wives."
(2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV) "Wherefore come out from among
them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the
unclean thing; and I will receive you,"
If you are separated in this world, you will be in the next.
(Matthew 13:49 KJV) "So shall it be at the end of the world: the
angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,"
