I see nothing wrong with a good argument. Especially if it is kept on a
good give and take level. An argument is simply an exchange of ideas
from a persons perspective. It CAN be detrimental but it doesn't have to
be.

The Scriptures you gave could be considered proof for my statement.
However, I tend to take my argument from the following--Jesus defied
the conservative religious authority of His day. (Liberals today
defy the laws of the land if they disagree with them). Jesus went
out of His way to be rebellious to them. (Liberals-especially the ones
who have an agenda go out of their way to be rebellious.)

You must admit that the pharisees were considered conservative. They
absolutely followed the Word--Of course, they corrupted it but
nevertheless they still followed it closely. If Jesus was a
conservative in His day He would've fallen lock step with the other
religious systems.

Don't get me wrong I am NOT speaking of the clinton style liberalism.
Clinton is NOT a liberal. A liberal has convictions (wrong as they
may be in my opinion). Clinton has no convictions. He gets up, licks
his finger to see which way the wind is blowing and there he walks.
To be fair Bush wasn't a Conservative. Ronald Reagan WAS/IS a great
representative of a conservative.

There are other arguments supporting this claim about Jesus. One
is enough for today.
