I wanted to thank Sis.Lynna for her paper about women in the Bible. I have
arguments (friendly) with others about women in ministry. One of the godly
women in my church, whom I look up to, is a minister. Concerning the
passage in I Cor 14: 34-35, when women are told to be silent and ask their
husbands at home has always bothered me. One of my religion professors
explained this to me. She said that when women starting worshiping with men,
the women were not used to the service and had many questions. This caused
some caos and so that is why Paul told the women to be silent and ask their
husbands at home. I personally fell that women should not be pastors if
they are married because a wife should be under her husband and the pastor
is the head of the church. What does everyone think?
