dear sister anne......this issue has been debated for centuries....yet the
WORD of the Lord seems extremely clear on this issue......I am a man...and a
minister. Yet most men in the "apostolic" circles I have observed take
issue with my interpretation of this area of scripture. I will briefly
explain some things here as to why I beleive women are "called of God IN ANY
area of ministry He so chooses to place them in." We can discuss these and
other "women-in-ministry " related questions if you wish via personal e-mail
apart from these posts.

First,,,, There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatian
s 3:28

This calling of attention to our gender tells me God does not look upon us as
respect to out gender....ie non-sexually.....we are His people and the sheep
of his pasture.....that reference even compares us to animals.....we are not
animals yet to God we are as sheep and He is our shepherd.

Second....But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit
withal.
I Corinthians 12:7

This verse clearly states the "manifestation" of Gods Spirit is given to every
 man.
The manifestations are stated in the other verses as "gifts" to be used to
edify, ehort, and comfort all those who gladly recieve them. The word of
choice in the King James english here is man. In the greek it is "hekhastos"
meaning everyone. Somewhat changes the meaning that some have told us
regarding a gender clarification. Also the use of the word man in the book
of Genesis is also misunderstood at times to mean "male"
 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27
The word him in the Hebrew is "eth" meaning 'entity' NOT male....thats why He
goes on to explain there is a "male" and "female" within the category of
"him" or eth.
So God again "specifies" His intent by referring to man and women
distinctively and corporately when He speaks of the creation of species
called man, or as it is translated in the Hebrew,,,,"adam" or
adham.....meaning mankind.

Third (my last point IN this letter).....The history of Pauls statement...
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto
them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith
the law. I Cor.14:34
is as follows....
The synagogue of that day had a wall dividing it right down the middle...the
men on one side and the women on the other. Both could hear what was being
said from the front of the room .....yet at times....a wife would not hear
clearly what was said and looked to her husband and yelled out "what did He
say?" This noise would be considered "out of order" and "disrespectful" to
the WORD that was being taught. So the rules of the synagogue were that a
woman should keep quiet until she got outside of the service and ask her
husband at home what was said at the meeting if she didnt understand or hear
clearly. Some of the synagogues of today have a glass partition separating
the men from the women as to conform to the old traditions.
This passage has NO relationship whatsoever to "women" NOT being allowed to
speak as the Spirit of God gives them unction or "annoints" them for
service.(ie. ministry)

Well thats enough for now...hope this clears a path into the throne for you.
Any who want to discuss this further feel free to contact me. My opinions
have been formulated thru study in Gods WORD,historical accounts of Jewish
practices, and revelation from the Holy Spirit as He has seen fit. Jesus is
my only ANSWER and my only GUIDE into all truth.

In the marvelous NAME above all others ----JESUS
