Dear Sis. Anneliese
You can write to PPH and request a"Writer's Resoursce Packet".
The address:
Word Aflame Publications
8855 Dunn Road
Hazelwood, MO 63042

They will send you a packet with writing guidelines and samples of the type of material they are looking for.
Basically they need short stories, puzzles, practical life items, and free verse for youth and teen take home papers. For adult reading they are looking for perseonal experiences, inteviews, short fiction and poems. Also devotionals for "Word Aglow".
They do not usually accept Christian fiction. (I only know of one adult fiction book that they published from an established writer.) Usually the material needs to contain "the message" not just be clean.
There are others Christian publishers who are looking for Christian fiction. The best sources are: "The Writers Marke"t from Writers Digest Magazine or the Chrsitian Writers Market Guide. Both are updated annually.
Keep in mind book publishers usually look for established writers. You may want to consider writing a few short stories or articles and get them published while you are working on your books, (if you have not already done so).

Hope this helps.
