At Shavu'ot (Pentecost) Peter cleared up two problems that are being
over looked by bible readers. Acts 2:36 reveals the Yehoshuha (Jesus) is
both L-rd (G-d's expression of mercy) and Christ, Christ is the Greek
word for Moshiach. Peter pointed out before he gave the formula for
immersion that Yehoshuha (Jesus) was held two offices. The first was
G-d's expression of mercy. The second his office as Moshiach for the
future, John 4:25-26. Please keep in mind that the gospel of John
explains the Torah.
Acts 2:39 given after the formula for immersion and identifies Yehoshuha
as the expressed image of G-d,Hebrews 1:3. Before Adam was created and
made G-d in his creative plan designed Adam to look like his expressed
image. At Bethlehem he would share it with the world. Romans 5:14 ...who
is the firgure (image) of him that was to come.
Keeping these principals in mind read Acts 2:38 again. hopefully you
will see what must be known to truly appreciate the conversion
experence. Acts 2:38 .....in the name of Yehoshuha HaMoshiach. Shalom!
