G-d has greatr respect for all of his creation, but above all men and
women. This sunject has been discussed many times, each time it becomes
more and more appearent that the best solution to the simple problem is
pointed out by peter 2 peter 3:1-18, especially line 16 "as also in ALL
his epistles, speaking in them of things; in which are SOME THINGS hard
to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as
they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction" The bible
speaks about many wonderful women, but never shows one example where G-d
chose a women because he couldn't find a man to do the job that was
needed to be done. G-d calls who he will. If it appears that G-d takes
his time in so doing it would show a great lack of faith to run a head
of G-d by choosing what G-d would otherwise not choose. likewise his
name was a secret until his birth when Joseph was told to call him
Yehoshuha (Jesus) meaning saviour, one office he held. at the same time
he is called Moshiach (Messiah) see Matthew 1:21-23 keep in mind that
Matthew's gospel is written to and for nations, much of what is in it is
yet future. In chapter 2 notice what Herod ask for! "...where is he that
is born King of the Jews?" Herod wasn't conserned about a saviour, but
rather a king. In Acts 2:38 peter placed within the formula the
understanding of both offices, of saviour Yehoshuha (Jesus) and Moshiach
(Christ) not just Jesus. Peter explained before giving the formula see
Acts 2:36 that Jesus was both L-rd, G-d's expression of mercy, and
Christ his kingship. The work of salvation is past, the Kingship is yet
future. For the saints this is and important point, for the puzzle makes
it is not, for the reason peter points out in 2 peter 3:16. Again acts
2:38 does not read ...in the name of Jesus. It reads ...in the name of
jesus christ. See Colossians 2:8, 9, 10. anyone who is immersed
according to Acts 2:38 must know that they enter into all the teachings
of the Master, not only the remission of sins, but the right to rule
with him in the times of refreshing...from the presence of the L-rd.
"And whatsoever ye do (action) in word (what you say) or deed (express)
do all in the name of the L-rd Jesus, (G-d's expression of mercy as
saviour) ...." now read verse 16 "Let the word of Christ (Moshiach)
dwell in you richly in ALL WISDOM; TEACHING AND ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER
IN PSALMS AND HYMMS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING WITH GRACE IN YOUR
HEARTS TO THE L-RD." SHALOM
