Bro, I am not sure about the unedifying part, the issues you speak of
are very real and in many churches I imagine are very threatening. If
the content makes one to think and possibly mature as a Christian then
it is edifying (IMHO). This poor reporting of church funds &/or the poor
use of the same is not a subject to be taken lightly. I too feel that
all too soon we will lose the tax exempt status of churches (I know of
at least 10 states that last year had such legislature discussed - none
passed, on fact only one or two made it to a vote). One of the common
compliants that caused the legislators to look at such bills was the
lack of control over the Pastors use of funds & resources of the church.
It is yet another reason to prayer very regularly for your pastor, that
he be led of the Spirit!!!
