You:
>Anyhow, like I said before, God put Revelation 13 in His Word
>because he wanted us to be aware of that information, not that
>we are to fear (God is in control) not that we can delay the
>fulfillment of prophecy (God is in control), and not just to
>simply know, (though God obviously wants us to know), but I
>believe that prophecy can be a very effective tool in reaching
>the lost in these last days, and that's what it's all about !

Me:
It was put there for us? How do ya figure? That is in there for the Jews
of the 7 years of The Great Outpouring Without Admixture of God's Wrath,
MISTAKENLY refered to as the Tribulation. The number refers to a ***MAN***.
That is the signifcance. Paul calls this man the 'great man of sin' and
nowhere is he refered to as the 'antichrist.' He is antichrist of course
but Satan is 'the' antichrist. This terminology and the supposed
'progression' of events in Revelation is all from the Catholic Church and is
all so much 'BUMPKUS'! If you READ the book of the Revelation and put all
this other nonsense out of your mind, you get a TOTALLY different account of
what is going to happen than what I have heard. Even in the churches with
the 'Truth' they prattle on about 7 years of tribulation and the like when a
child can see that there is NO ONE tested during this period! To answer
Sister Lynna's question, there IS only One resurrection:

John 11
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother
had not died.

22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give
it thee.

23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the
resurrection at the last day.

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that
believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou
this?

Jesus IS the resurrection unto life!

The farther I walk with the Lord, the more this statement of Paul's comes to
have more and more meaning:

1 Corinthians 2:
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and
him crucified.

Let this also be said of me Lord!

One death in Christ and Him crucified:

Galatians 2:
20 I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth
in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the
Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

One burial in Christ and Him crucified:

Romans 6
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as
Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we
also should walk in newness of life.

Then One judgment in Christ and Him crucified:

John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God.

One Life in Christ and Him crucified:

Romans 6
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we
shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin
might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

One mission in Christ and Him crucified:

1 Corinthians 6:
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and
in
your spirit, which are God's.

One future in Christ and Him crucified:

Revelation 21:23
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it:
for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Christ and Him crucified:

Ephesians 4
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of
your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you
all.

Umm... SHOUT!
