stepping on soapbox

Viewed as such by those with a chip on their shoulder. I have came to
the conclusion that anything and everything can be viewed as a racist
statement/event: IF IT IS TWISTED ENOUGH. Case in point: A local
school teacher was fired last week. She had setup a class trip. She
had done this on school time on school property without school
permission. After being told by administration to stop; she moved off
campus. The travel agency closed down, the parents lost their money.
She claims she was fired because she is black and her violations of
school policy and rules(even after being informed of such) was in no way
possible the reason.

Now if anyone can claim to lead a life oppressed by bigotry a Yankee in
Dixie is the person. I have friends from all walks of life(litterally)
and most major religions. The reason we can all be friends is simple:
we don't try to show how enlightened we are. We give and take grief at
every open chance. We look at each other as people first then any
oddities we may have.

IMNSHO, the politically correct/anti-racism crowd has perverted Dr
King's message and goal for power and profit. INCREASING racial tension
at every opportunity.

I have a dream...judged by content of their character not the color of
their skin - Dr M.L. King
