Naturally, she will take care of all problems that involve
women only. This in addition to teaching Sunday
> School, working in the nursery, singing in the choir,
playing piano when needed, cleaning the church,
scrubbing the toilets, etc. (Sorry if I missed
> anything.

me: You forgot to mention fund raising (making
peanut brittle, tacos-in-the-bag, yard sales, bake
sales, etc. We will do anything that is not illegal,
immoral or indecent to raise money :-D)
Our Pastor's wife is such as gem. She makes my job
as Ladies Auxiliary President so much easier. Oops!
I keep forgetting, we are now Women's Division
Presidents following the resolution approved at General Conference. Up
until this past month, there hasn't been
a time that I have had a fund raising project that she
hasn't been there to work. She recently had a quintuple
heart bypass procedure and had a blockage in the
cartoid artery of her neck opened. Would you
believe she actually told me she was coming out
to help us make candy this past weekend.
I told her, with all due respect, to STAY home and
REST. Maybe in another week, or so, I will "let"
her come sit in the kitchen while we work (for the
fellowship). IMO, our pastor's wives are TRULY
the unsung heroes of our faith.
