You can't see the difference between a homosexual
endorsing milk and having Elmo tell a five year old
that it is OK for girls to have sex with girls?

me: Say it ain't so!! NOT Elmo!! We haven't had
TV in our home since June. I read the newspaper
daily and check out USA Today online, but I must
have missed this one. Makes me feel *even* better
about our decision to "pull the plug" on the cable.

BTW, our 90-day TV-free trial ended on September 1st.
So far, my husband has not asked me to call the
cable company to have it reinstalled. I was afraid he
was going to "weaken" on me as cold weather
approached and we were inside the home more, but
so far, so good (ECC helped a bunch).
He just got laid off on Friday and the union hall
(Boilermaker) says there won't be any steady work until spring. Should be
an "interesting" winter :-D. My
husband's brother sold their VCR shortly after we
unplugged our cable because they had progressed from
wholesome family G and PG rated movies to PG-13
and R movies in their home. They have two sons.
A 14 year old and a 19 year old, in college.
My brother in law is 40 and his wife is 35. They are
expecting a baby girl in late March. Wonder what they
found to take up their extra TV-less time?????
I just love teasing them about this situation and have
started calling them "Abraham and Sarah". I think they
feel I have a somewhat "warped" sense of
humor, but if God gives you the wit, you just
GOTTA use it :-D.

Sis Donna (still putting in orders, I just don't want
any of them filled :-D ) Perine
