Regarding the National Day of Thanksgiving November 27 1997
All members of the Higher-Fire discussion list (hereafter referred to
in abbreviation as "H-F") who reside in the United States of America
are hereby asked to observe the Thanksgiving Holiday. This holiday is
a day off (for most of us) to take time to thank God for his bounty and
providence.
In recognition of this day of Thanksgiving to the Lord, H-F members are
heretofore asked to abstain from reading email on this day. The H-F
list moderators will themselves abstain from approving any email for
distribution on Thanksgiving Day. Pry thyselves away from that
computer, and spend time with your family!
H-F email distribution over the long holiday weekend will be sporadic.
Any email submitted to H-F over the long weekend will in all likelihood
take several days to be distributed by the system. To help alleviate
some of the congestion, the H-F moderators ask that the H-F members
limit your posting until Monday or so.
The Lord bless you all, and don't overdo it :-) :-)
For the H-F list moderators,
