WWW and 666 Its Barney

when i see (on the radio....hehe) children being led into a chant which
transforms a little dino. into a living singing object. i don't believe
it is acceptable. the fact of imagining that Barney wil "come alive" and
all that goo because some kids will sing along to a "Dollar Store"
soundtrack simply sickens me!!! i cast my vote against this
purple-clothed yoga yogurt yodi.

seriously, i believe that leading these kids into a continual fantasy
role-playing
life is outright dangerous. that system of thought, some would say, is
simply just natural and healthy...well, i happen to have been a kid, and
know what childhood is about!!! and that is not quite right. if you
disagree, you have a right to be wrong sometime!

I too would like to see a change in barbie. maybe instead of a doll
house, we could have a sanctuary? instead of the usual rollerblades,
maybe the aisle runnin' barb?
