I agree that we parents have to teach our children the absoluteness of
right and wrong. And part of that is to help remove the counsel of the
wrong from their life when they are young. By having her on the show
they endorsed her lifesytle. She got "good press" and is identifiable to
the children. This makes a "gay person" not "a bad thing".
I recently did a long study of the music industry and ended up doing
alot of study on subliminal messages (both audio and visual). The
advertising industry has a made an art of "inferred messages". Ever see
a real ugly lady or man in the cigarette/alcohol billboards...no cause
they are cool things to do. This type of message is out there and it
works! This tatic is not just in advertising, but in the media and world
in the promotion of many immoral ideologies.
Businesses supporting the lifestyle is something we have little control
over, but allowing our children to watch showes that permit the people
to be presented as okay (and thus the lifestyle is okay) is something we
need to be careful of.
The public school system is one of the great threats against our
children. As parents we must values and morals in our children at an
early age to help them combat the teaching of the schools. And then
pray, pray, pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!
