"Hello Bro. James, Bro Jude. My Name is Maxwelleous, some call me
Mephistopheles."

"Are you not the one that spoke recently to my Brother James?" asked Jude.

"Well, yes and that is what I have come to talk to you two men about. You
see, James didn't seem to get what I was talking about. Let me tell you about
my self. I am a pastor of a congregation of thirty-five hundred and god has
called me to give you some insight."

"Insight?" John questioned.

"Yes, insight," answered Maxwelleous, head lifted, gazing at the horizon.

" It is my agenda," Maxwelleous continued, "to give you practical insight
into;

•the fundamentals of prayer
•improving personal prayer life
•praying for others, including church leaders
•building a prayer partners ministry in the local church
•encouraging prayer revival nationwide."

Jude stood up, "There is a problem here, you and me,...we don't have a common
salvation."

"What do you mean Brother Jude?" asked Maxwelleous.

"What he means," answered John raising his voice, "is that you have not
confessed that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh!"

"Calm down Bro. John," begged Maxwelleous acting misunderstood, "we all
worship the same god. There are more similarities than differences between
us. We do have some differences in doctrine but...."

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not
God." John interrupted. "This is too great a difference!"

"Think of the numbers!" Maxwelleous exclaimed holding his hand in a prayerful
posture. "How do you expect church growth?"

"By earnestly contending for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints!" declared Jude.

"Mr. Maxwelleous, you say you want to teach us the fundamentals of prayer
when you don't even know who to pray to. In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father,) full of grace and truth. But you see Mr. Maxwelleous, you
don't believe this do you ?"

"Really gentlemen, I don't really see what the big problem is. You Just
don't understand what I am doing here, I am trying to help us grow..grow
together... look," Maxwelleous starting to look desperate, "I have this
vision, I want to reach a thousand pastors, and help them grow their
congregations to one thousand! Just think,...that is ONE MILLION!!!"

"Yes Mr. Maxwelleous, that is one million...but one million what? People
Baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost? No, that is not what
you are after. I think you better leave now," said Jude looking him dead in
the eye.

"You people will see it my way eventually, you'll see!" Maxwelleous muttered
as he scurried off.

As Maxwelleous disappeared into the darkness John put his arm around his dear
friend Jude and said, "If there come any unto you, and bring not this
doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he
that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."
