I come to you "in my father's name," which, by the name is Evans. That is the
NAME of the family into which I was born. But..............my surname is
Donald. Is this not what Christ, the man, was asserting when He stated ".....I
am come in my Father's name"? The child, whether it be male or female, always
bears the FAMILY NAME of the father. As for my, I believe that Jesus'
statement found recorded in John 5:43 is an excellent example to be employed in
support of the Oneness of God, albeit it certainly should be further supported
by others which also make this fact emphatically clear. If it be true (and it
most assuredly is), that ".....the whole family in heaven and earth is named"
after the NAME OF JESUS (see Ephesians 3:14-15), then does common logic tell us
that the FAMILY NAME is Jesus? I think so.
