Our children's education--soapbox :) (was Re: WWW and 666 Its Barney)

I have five children of my own, and if I could I would home school them
all.  There are some nice private christian schools around but we lack
the $$$$$$  to send them.  I do home school one child, but I also work
full time.  I see the lack of learning in my older children that is
absolutely amazing.  12 years old can't spell, write correct sentences
etc.  I do know that my younger children won't see the  inside a
classroom at the middle age school level.  The world out there is a
scary place for children who are unprepared.
