I believe that the charges discussed here were the online charges. Online
charges are almost a thing of the past if you are on an unlimited plan like
I am here on banet. I also am a "junoite" having been among the first to
receive and use Juno, which I still do. I remember paying over half of my
$20 per month just for e-mail, when I had an ISP that charged for mail and
that when I started writing and receiving mail at Juno, I then cancelled
the ISP because it was now no use to pay for the news daily. Now I am come
full circle and I use the ISP for news and have cancelled my paper!
