dear believers  .....this study on the birthday of the Lord has been
interesting and yet debated for many years....according to the Word of the
Lord.....you may be more successful in accounting the fact of Herods death as
your mark in time of the birth of Jesus.   If you verify his death (Herods)
you can then backtrack 40 days to a possible date of Jesus birth.   How is
this do you say?    Jesus was in Egypt until Herods death when Joseph was
told in a dream that this had occurred.  Mary had to present herself at the
temple on the 40th day after Jesus birth to show that she was
"clean"......This could not have occurred until the threat of Herod was ended
due to his death.   

If anyone is interested...I can state the longer version and my scriptural
evidence that has not been referenced here.
