Do you really mean The Passover meal?
me
of course.
you
1 Corinthians 5:7-8 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be
a
new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Moshiach (Christ) our passover
is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old
leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the
unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Me
what you are quoting is a lesson by Paul about the Afikoman, the last
part of the passover meal. Paul was instructing the gentile converts to
eat the passover meal at home as Yehoshuha and all jews do as one of the
three festivals I pointed out earlier from Leviticus 23. And not to
bring the WHOLE MEAL to the congregation. The participants were to bring
the Afikoman, half of a broken matzah to the congregational meeting to
be shared as Yehoshuha and all jews do. It was the last thing Yehoshuha
shaared with the disciples at what some call the last supper,Matthew
26:26 It was all part of the salvation plan, much of which is ignored by
many, as well as feet washing John 13. Shalom!
